Introducing ‘State’ – A new way to have your say

We are excited to be working with State – a new platform for democratic participation that puts power back in the hands of communities.

State is developing a powerful tool to help residents have their voices heard on major local issues. As part of their pilot, they’re working with the Our North Finchley campaign to trial the platform and ensure it reflects what real people want and need.

You can now use State to explore and have your say on four key topics (click on each to open the topic and have your say):

It is quick and easy to leave your views, read others’ contributions, and get a sense of where the community stands. The goal is to give local people a direct voice in decisions that affect our area, and to show what real community-led development could look like. The statements people make can then be read easily by our elected representatives.

Remember this is still at the piloting stage and so there may be some teething issues. Please feel free to share these links with others!
