Sign the CHANGE.ORG petition objecting to the proposed 16 storey tower block at Tally Ho Corner

A developer has applied to Barnet Council for planning permission to build a 16 storey tower block in the Tally Ho area of North Finchley. This development is unsuitable for the families who are expected to live there. There are insufficient family homes, for example, no play area for children over the age of 5, and Tally Ho is one of the most polluted parts of Barnet. The existing local community will suffer as well. A 16 storey block will overlook, overshadow and overwhelm surrounding properties, worsening the existing wind tunnel at Tally Ho Corner and making it harder to walk through the area. The proposed development will add to the pressure on surrounding streets because it makes little or no provision for parking.

You can find more information about this development on the Barnet Council website using either the planning reference (25/3287/FUL) or the address (Balfour House, 741 High Road, London N12 0BP).
